Terry's songs have appeared on millions of records worldwide. Nominated for "Album of The Year", by the Academy of Western Artists, the 2000 release of “A Cowboy...Born A Hundred Years Too Late”, Terry's tribute to the American West, contained the song "Silver Spur", which won "Song of The Year", and is now being used as the storyline for a book and possibly a made for TV movie. Terry was also nominated for "Male Vocalist of The Year", and won "Songwriter of The Year" honors.

Terry has had numerous songs cut over the years and is very proud of them all, but in 1990 Terry co-wrote a song that was recorded by the legendary Charley Pride. The song was “Amy’s Eyes” and reached the top 20 on the national charts. It stayed there for a total of 26 weeks and was also the #1 most requested CMT video for 11 straight weeks. The coolest part was getting to be there when Charley recorded the song and being ask by Charley himself to sing the harmony parts on the cut.

“Amy’s Eyes” has been released on several subsequent Greatest Hits compilations by Charley Pride and has also been released as a single in numerous countries around the world and topped many foreign charts.

In 1991 “Amy’s Eyes” was chosen by the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI), as one of the 15 best written songs recorded in 1990.

“Dancin’ Shoes” is also a song Terry is very proud of. Growing up a huge Marshall Tucker Band fan and playing their music for years in clubs, it truly was a dream come true when Terry got word they had recorded his song. “Dancin’ Shoes” was chosen as a single for radio and turned out to be a top 40 record here in the states. It was released worldwide and charted in many foreign countries as well.

Terry has been fortunate to have the opportunity to write with some of the worlds best songwriters over the years. Terry started writing with Aaron Tippin before Aaron ever got signed to his first recording contract and their collaborations led to 3 cuts on Aaron Tippin albums. “Ain’t That A Hell Of A Note” on the “You’ve Got To Stand For Something” album, “Nothin’ In The World” on the “Call Of The Wild” album and “Mountain Of Stone” on “Toolbox”.

Their friendship led Aaron to bring Terry on board as his Tour Manager when Aaron started his own management company. Terry held that position for 4 ½ years before leaving to start his own Artist Management company in 1999.
